I’m excited to announce the launch of the **Embody Future Dance Teachers Programme** at our dance school! This is a fantastic opportunity for our passionate dancers to elevate their skills and explore the world of teaching dance.

 

Who Is It For?

This programme is open to students aged 11 and above who are interested in assisting with classes, attending training sessions, and gaining experience as future dance teachers. The course will inspire students, boost their confidence and their communication skills.

 

Programme Overview

- The programme runs for 10 months.

- After completing Course 1, students can choose to advance to courses 2, 3 and 4.

- Upon completing all four courses, students aged 16+ may have the opportunity to interview for an Assistant Dance Teacher role, if available.

 

What to Expect:

- Training Sessions: Future Dance Teachers will participate in four dance teaching training sessions over the 10 month period (1.5 hours per session) following a structured workbook.

 

Weekly Work Assistance:  Future Dance Teachers will gain hands-on experience by assisting in dance classes for at least 30 minutes each week. This is a great way to apply what they have learned and inspire younger dancers.

 

Accreditation and Recognition:  Future Dance Teachers courses are accredited. After each level the students will receive CPD credits which are internationally recognised as Continuing Professional Development. These accreditations can be placed on a students CV and are recognised by employers.

 

1:1 Guidance and Support: Throughout the programme, each future dance teacher will receive personalised guidance to help them succeed, whether they are mastering new techniques or building their confidence.
